OBSERVED AS SANKALP PARVA
The 70^th Anniversary of Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm as usual. As per the order from the Central Government the day was observed as SANKALP PARVA (the day of resolve). All the children, teachers and parents joined us in the oath taking and made it a memorable event. The pledge was to make India better in the next five years which will be strong, prosperous and inclusive. Children gave speech on the freedom struggle in all three languages-Tamil, Hindi & English. The school choir also gave two beautiful songs – Flag song and a patriotic song. Later the event ended up with the distribution of sweets to all.
